Frequently Asked Questions
What is the first step?
It may be calling for the 15 minute chat and arranging to meet for our first session or it may be by email depending on what feels most convenient and agreeable for you. The first meeting will give you the chance to tell me what it is that is going on in your life that is causing you the difficulties you are experiencing and struggling with. Anything you want to know about the therapies that I offer and how the choice in therapy can help you. There is no obligation on you to continue therapy after this meeting.

How often will I need to come and come for?
This is dependent on your individual needs and can be flexible but initially sessions are more helpful to be weekly (a minimum of 8 sessions) and we will review progress regularly as we proceed giving us both plenty of opportunity to explore how we are getting on .In reviewing your progress your sessions can continue on a weekly basis or be changed to fortnightly, every 3 weeks, monthly and then proceed to top-up review sessions i.e. every 2 months, 3 months etc. but it’s your choice as to how long you wish to stay in therapy.
How long does a session last?
Sessions for all the therapies I offer are 50 minutes and at the end of the session your next appointment is scheduled.
